BWIH Leadership Conference

Join us at the Edgbaston park hotel and conference centre in Birmingham on the 7th of March 2020 for our first BWIH Leadership conference. This event aims to educate and empower black female healthcare professionals on becoming authentic leaders and making positive impact.

BWIH Presents: Inter-professional Summer Social 2019

We are delighted to invite you to our inter-professional networking event on Saturday 21, September 2019, from 2pm onwards.

We love to inspire the future generation. We aim to  do this by speaking to secondary and primary school students. Representation matters and when they see someone like them doing well, it will encourage them.

health awareness

 We aim to champion health awareness days for the black community. To promote healthy living, disease prevention, answer questions and encourage routine screening tests to improve the health of the community

mentorship

BWIH  aims to encourage and support Junior doctors and  Medical Students through their training. As an organisation we do this is a variety of ways, including providing opportunities to connect, mentor-ship, advice on completing CV and preparing for interviews.
